Membership Committees

Mission
To team new members with current HBA members so that new members may develop a commitment to the Association. This pairing will provide new members with a vehicle to network within the building industry by promoting and ultimately increasing their business and retaining their membership. 
The Membership Committee has been organized into three divisions to better serve the members of the HBA of Metro Orlando in in the following ways: Welcoming Members, Retaining Existing Members, and Recruiting New Members to the Association.

Ambassador Committee
Monthly Meeting: 3rd Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.  Chair: Jim Barto, Snyder Media & Marketing
Mission: Welcome each new member with an office visit or phone call. Invite new members to attend an upcoming event. Attend meetings to welcome new members and help them to meet other valuable HBA member contacts.
 

Retention Committee 
Monthly Meeting: 3rd Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Chair: Susan Ufland, Gulf States Credit Union
Mission: Make phone calls to encourage active participation, verify contact information and ensure that members are satisfied with their HBA membership. Remind HBA members to continuously take advantage of their HBA member benefits.

Membership Oversight Committee
Monthly Meeting: 3rd Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Chair: Michelle Delaney, Page Insurance Agency
Mission: Oversees all Membership Committees (Ambassador, Retention and New Member Orientation). To be an active member of the Membership Oversight Committee, members must satisfy the following: Minimum of 6 months of membership and 6 months of serving on a membership sub-committee.
