Osceola Building Safety Week

Monday-Friday, May 5-9, 2008

During the week of May 5-9, Osceola County will be celebrating Building Safety Week. Building Safety Week is a week set aside when your local building department participates in a worldwide celebration to raise awareness of building safety when considering the use, enforcement and understanding of building, safety and fire prevention codes in order to protect both lives and property. Osceola County will have permit technicians, inspectors and plan reviewers available all week to answer any questions you might have.

The weeklong celebration culminates in a free Building Safety Fair at Courthouse Square on Friday, May 9.

Osceola County is offering all HBA Builder or Associate members a free booth at the Safety Fair. The Chapter is also seeking volunteers to assist at the HBA booth.
