The Sales and Marketing Council is an organization within the Home Builders Association of Metro Orlando which acts as a catalyst for professional growth, achievement and community involvement of our members. The Sales and Marketing Council strives to foster the highest level of ethics, integrity and professionalism for our industry and our community.

The Sales and Marketing council holds many events throughout the year including quarterly breakfasts, After Hours events, SAM Tram, Major Achievement Awards, HBA Holiday Party and educational opportunities.

Annual Dues: $35.99 - 75.99 per individual

Meetings: 1st Thursday 9:00 a.m.

SMC Sub-committees

Programs/Education– Selects the speakers, programming & content for the quarterly breakfasts. Greets and orients the speakers, and coordinates the event.
Chair – Cary Romer, Beazer Homes
Meetings: As needed

Realtor Relations–Coordinates the New Home Preview, SAM TRAM and L.I.S.T. events. Solicits attendees, builders and sponsors.
Chair - Heather Salvatoriello, Quality Title and Escrow
Meetings: 1st Tuesday of every month at 12:00 pm at HBA

After Hours–Organizes ‘After Hours’ events including Bowling Tournament, Holiday Party and monthly Closing Times. Solicits attendees, raffle prizes and sponsors.
Chair - Sandi Martin, Orlando Mortgage Solutions
Meetings: 1st Tuesday of every month at 12:00 pm at HBA

Membership/Communication–Develops a membership campaign involving builder/associate outreach for the year. Attends new member orientations to represent the SMC. Develops an internal communications campaign, including SMC e-newsletter & SMC webpage.
Chair – Andy Brown, Fidelity Funding Mortgage
Meetings: 3rd Tuesday of every month at 12 pm at HBA

Major Achievement Awards–Executes the Major Achievements Awards gala. Administers promotional campaign, venue selection, décor, theme development, sponsorship, ticket sales, and entry solicitation.

Meetings: 4th Thursday of every month at 11:30 am at HBA
