2. Make sure that everything is properly labeled.
3. Nominate yourself. Lots of people do. If you feel that you should be nominated for one of the “Individual Awards” nominate yourself, or approach a co-worker or supervisor and let them know of your desires.
4. Consider several categories. Recognition is the best and most effect way to reward yourself, peers and employees. It has been shown that employers that recognize their employees regularly have a much higher rate of retention than those who don’t.
5. Judging criteria forms are available upon request.
6. Start your entry now! Too often, entries are thrown together at the last moment. Judges notice this and will deduct points. Show-off your product the way it deserves to be showcased and take time to prepare your entries.
